Welcome to the official torrent for GOOFBANG - a digital zine for artists, by an artist, which hopes to appeal to more people than just artists.
goofbang is currently an irregularly published collection of material by artists from around Australia, with scope to stretch out beyond our shores in future issues. Each issue takes different pieces of art created by different people and presents them to you, free of charge, for your consumption. I like to think of it as a multiple course meal baked into a magazine shape then crammed into noughts & ones and then thrown at your computer.
Each artist has submitted their work free of charge, in the hopes that someone like you will stumble upon it and find something new/cool/foul/abhorrent in it. We operate under a Creative Commons license that allows for the viewing and manipulation/remix of the art, as long as due credit is given and the artist is contacted about the said adaptation of their material. All artwork may not be used for commercial use without prior consent.
You can find all past and present issues of goofbang right here, as well as randomly scattered around the cities that you know and love. You see, we have a stealthy network of artistic leprechauns who eat digital copies of goofbang, poop out CD's containing the material, vomit original artwork onto the cover and leave them lying around train stations, bus stops, schools, universities... basically anywhere a leprechaun may void his bowels after a night on pixie drink. So KEEP AND EYE OUT FOR POOP, IT MAY JUST BE ART.
So please, download yourself a copy and inject some new, independent art into your skull. It might be the best shot of Demerol you've ever had.
